Okay, I will be the first to try this blog thing out ... never have done this before. The lunar eclipse at Mare Island Heritage Preserve was one of the most awesome experiences of my life.

It was right up there with my backpacking trips through the Grand Canyon, and rain forests of Olympic National Park. The circle of lights dazzled us ... with the orange moon the main attraction. The good feelings filled the air and seeped into our hearts ... quiet moments among new companions. 2010 it happens again ... try not to miss it. Until then a morning stroll at sunrise ... or an open space walk at sunset will do. Yeah, I know, this is not about art ... it is about inspiration. Sue
