Coastside Land Trust
Call for Artists: Coastal Fall Art Show
Since 1997, Coastside Land Trust has actively worked to preserve, protect and enhance the natural, scenic, recreational, cultural, historical, and agricultural resources of Half Moon Bay and the San Mateo County coast. Our gallery was launched in 2011 to convey the beauty of these resources through art.
For our upcoming show, “Coastal Fall,” we are looking for pieces that reveal the ordinary and astounding beauty of our coastal environment from the shoreline to the barnyard. In keeping with our mission, we are particularly interested in works that focus on coastal land and/or those who inhabit its various environments. Artwork in all media will be considered.
We invite you and other artists you may know to submit. The submission period will be from July 27 to August 24 and the show will run from September 21 to October 7, 2018. Please click here to find the gallery page and here for the application and instructions. We look forward to seeing how you represent Coastal Fall.
You are invited to enter artwork in our upcoming exhibition:
Fall Landscapes of the Golden State
During Filoli’s Fall season, agricultural and preservation practices will be honored with this year’s theme of Golden Harvest. In the medium of paint, artists are asked to capture scenes of fall using California landscapes as the subject. Artists are encouraged to submit two-dimensional painted work that incorporates or interprets “Golden State”, though this is not required. If your style and practice of art does not fit the criteria for this exhibit, please help by spreading the word to friends and colleagues.
Further details about the Exhibition, including dates, can be found through our partnering with Online Juried Shows. Please click the link below to be directed to the Exhibition page. We look forward to viewing incredible work ~ thank you.
